GAGANYAAN
Today I am going to talk about the gaganyaan mission. It is not launched. It will launch from ISRO of India. It will be a great and most beautiful mission for India.
So, lets start,
First of all 'GAGANYAAN' is a hindi word. It means sky vehicle. The word 'GAGAN' means sky or space and the word 'YAAN' means craft or vehicle.

2. In Bengali Gagan means akash or mahakash.
1. In english yaan means craft or vehicle
2. In bengali yaan means zan or zanbahan.
ISRO is launching the GaganYaan mission. Lets know some facts about ISRO.
⦁ ISRO : ISRO is a space research center which is situated in India. The Full form of ISRO is Indian Space Research Organisation(Bhartia antariksh anusandhan sangathan). Many times ago INCOSPAR(Indian National Comittee for Space research) was established. After some times INCOSPAR grew up and became ISRO. ISRO was managed by DOS. ISRO launched many missions. ISRO launched Aryabhata(India's first satellite.). In 1980 ISRO made Rohini and placed it to the Earth's orbit. ISRO has many launch vehicles viz. PSLV(Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle), GSLV(Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle), SSLV(Small Satellite Launch Vehicle.) etc. ISRO launched MOM mission to research on mars , ISRO launched Lunar mission named Chandrayaan 1, Chandrayaan 2.
Now, Lets talk about GaganYaan.
⦁ GaganYaan : Gaganyaan is a human space flight program. Gaganyaan mission's capsule can contain three people in its room. The main plan is to make a fine orbit around earth riding on the capsule. The max height will be 400 meter from our Earth. ISRO planned Gaganyaan to be launched on ISRO's GSLV rocket.
⦁ GSLV : GSLV is most powerful rocket of the space agency ISRO. GSLV is much better than other launch vehicles of ISRO(Indian Space Research Organisation). The full form of GSLV is Geosynchronous satellite launch vehicle. GSLV rocket has many variants, like- GSLV Mk I , GSLV Mk II, GSLV Mk III. The height of the rocket GSLV is 49.1 Meter and its diameter is about 2.80 meter. It is very very heavy. The mass of GSLV is 970,314.0 lb. GSLV is a three stage rocket. It has solid liquid and cyrogenic stages. GSLV can place upto 5000 kg payload to low Earth orbit. The length of the first stage is 20.2 meter and the length of the second GS2 stage is 11.90 meter and the length of the second stage is 11.60 meter the length of the third stage is 8.70 meter. The GSLV Mk I is retired. GSLV II and GSLV III are active.
The capsule's mass is 3.70 ton. The application of the mission is crewed orbital vehicle. The launch mass of the rocket is 7800 kg. The diameter of gaganyaan is 3.5 meter and the height is 3.6 meter. Gaganyaan is a autonomous space craft.
Gaganyaan is planned to launch in December of 2020.
I hope it will be successful.
Go ISRO. Good luck.
